We're looking for a Tech Lead - (React + Node.js) to guide the engineering team of a high-impact client in the transport and logistics sector. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines deep technical expertise with strategic decision-making and mentorship.
You’ll shape scalable, cloud-native solutions that optimize how people and goods move across global supply chains - making real-world impact through elegant software.

What You’ll Do

Technical Leadership:
Lead the design and delivery of fullstack applications, ensuring best practices in architecture, scalability, and maintainability.

Hands-On Engineering:
Contribute to development with advanced expertise in React, Node.js, and TypeScript, while supporting code quality through reviews and pair programming.

Cloud & DevOps Oversight:
Architect and oversee deployments in AWS, leveraging services like Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, and IAM. Manage CI/CD pipelines and guide DevOps practices across environments.

Mentorship & Team Growth:
Coach and support developers through regular feedback, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and high performance.

Strategic Collaboration:
Partner with product managers, stakeholders, and designers to align technical solutions with business goals. Translate complex requirements into actionable plans.

Process & Delivery Excellence:
Drive agile ceremonies, estimate project efforts, and lead sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement.

Logistics Expertise:
Help build systems that solve domain-specific challenges—fleet management, scheduling, route optimization, tracking, and supply chain integration.

Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong fullstack focus.
  • Advanced proficiency in React, Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript tooling.
  • Proven leadership experience in cross-functional agile teams.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-first architectures.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
  • Deep experience with automated testing and quality-first engineering.
  • Clear communicator with a track record of mentoring and growing teams.
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred:

  • Industry experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain systems.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to serverless and event-driven architectures using AWS (SNS, SQS, EventBridge).
