We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer to join a dynamic remote team for a super cool London based agency as our full-time employee. This role is ideal for someone who possesses a deep understanding of Shopify's ecosystem, including advanced Shopify Apps such as Yotpo, Gorgias, Klevu, and Klaviyo. The candidate should have extensive experience with Shopify Payments, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), SEO integration, and backend development technologies including Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and REST API.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and manage Shopify Plus e-commerce websites.
  • Implement and configure advanced Shopify Apps for enhanced functionality and user experience.
  • Integrate Shopify Payments and set up complex payment systems for global transactions.
  • Utilize Google Analytics 4 for tracking and optimizing the performance of the e-commerce platform.
  • Apply SEO best practices and integrate SEO tools and strategies to increase site visibility.
  • Design and develop backend solutions using Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Maintain and update the website to ensure reliability and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shopify Engineer with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects.
  • Expertise in using Shopify Apps like Yotpo, Gorgias, Klevu, and Klaviyo.
  • Solid understanding of Shopify Payments, GA4, and SEO integration techniques.
  • Strong backend development skills, specifically in Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and REST API.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
