As a Senior React Native Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and evolving cross-platform mobile applications used by a growing customer base. You’ll work in a high-trust, product-driven environment where quality, scalability, and user experience matter deeply. What You’ll Do

Build Exceptional Mobile Experiences

Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript, delivering seamless experiences across iOS and Android.

Deliver Product Impact

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate ideas into high-quality, user-focused features.

Drive Performance & Scalability

Improve app performance, reliability, and scalability while proactively addressing technical debt and architectural improvements.

Champion Engineering Quality

Write and maintain automated tests across the testing pyramid. Contribute to clean architecture, code quality, and continuous improvement practices.

Contribute Beyond Your Squad

Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions while supporting broader engineering initiatives as the organisation scales internationally.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Commercial experience building cross-platform mobile applications with React Native
  • Solid understanding of mobile UX principles across platforms and devices
  • Experience with automated testing and pragmatic testing strategies
  • Product mindset with the ability to break down requirements and estimate effectively
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Production experience with GraphQL
  • Deep understanding of mobile performance optimisation and debugging
  • Experience with staged rollouts or experimentation (e.g., A/B or multivariate testing)
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and tools
  • Close collaboration experience with designers on UI/UX decisions
  • Experience scaling products to large user bases
