We’re partnering with a fast-growing international technology company operating a leading digital marketplace and ecosystem for art, antiques, and collectibles. Their platform supports the entire auction lifecycle - from item registration and discovery to bidding and payment - serving users and partners across multiple global markets.
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you’ll play a central role in evolving a high-traffic, globally used platform. You’ll work on complex product challenges around discovery, search, performance, and user experience while helping shape the technical direction of the platform.
This role offers real ownership and influence - you’ll help define features, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with a small, highly capable international engineering team building products used by collectors, auction houses, and galleries worldwide.

What You’ll Do

Build High-Impact Product Features

Design, build, and ship full-stack features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.

Shape the Frontend Architecture

Lead the development of modern, maintainable frontend systems and contribute to architectural decisions that improve reliability, performance, and developer experience.

Own Features End-to-End

Take full ownership of features – from early product discussions and technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate Across Product and Engineering

Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate ideas into well-crafted, high-quality product experiences.

Improve Discovery and Data-Driven Features

Contribute to systems that power search, analytics, and content discovery across a large catalogue of items and auction data.

Leverage Modern Development Practices

Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong full-stack development experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
  • Experience building production-grade web applications
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimisation
  • Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and testing
  • Experience working in Agile product teams
  • Experience using AI coding tools as part of modern development workflows
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with search platforms such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure
  • Experience with containerised infrastructure or Kubernetes
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Python experience for scripting or backend tasks
