We're hiring a Senior Fullstack Developer (Python, React) for one of our cutting-edge partners in the regulatory technology space, a high-growth startup reimagining how compliance operates in modern financial systems.
This role is an opportunity to help architect and scale mission-critical software from the ground up, working directly with founding leadership and leveraging a modern, full-stack tech environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Projects End-to-End: Work closely with the CTO to design, implement, and optimize core systems powering next-generation financial infrastructure.
  • Full-Stack Development: Contribute across the stack using Python (Django, FastAPI) and TypeScript (React/Next.js) to build scalable and maintainable features.
  • System Design & Scale: Build for growth – design systems with performance and stability in mind as the user base rapidly expands.
  • Infrastructure as Product: Operate and deploy on AWS with a DevOps mindset; you’ll write the code and help run it.
  • Autonomy & Impact: Work in a low-meeting, high-trust environment where engineers are given ownership and room to thrive.

Tech Stack You’ll Work With

  • Backend: Django, Python, FastAPI
  • Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong experience building full-stack or backend systems using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native development (AWS preferred).
  • Clear, thoughtful communicator with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Production experience with React/Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with designing or scaling complex Django codebases.
  • Experience collaborating with AI/ML teams or integrating machine learning models into production systems.
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures, observability, or infrastructure scaling patterns.
