We’re seeking a Senior Drupal Engineer to join one of our key digital transformation partners. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about open-source technologies, takes ownership of their work, and excels in remote team environments.

What You’ll Do

Drupal Development:
Deliver high-quality, scalable CMS solutions using Drupal (preferably 9+), with a strong focus on backend development in PHP.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with designers, developers, and client stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery of features.

Full Lifecycle Ownership:
Review and refine specifications, provide accurate estimates, document your approach, and manage expectations on delivery and functionality.

Technical Guidance:
Support junior team members and contribute to technical conversations and code reviews.

DevOps & Tooling:
Use modern tools such as DDEV (or equivalent), Git, GitHub Actions/Bitbucket Pipelines, and Linux terminal commands for streamlined development workflows.

Agile Practices:
Participate actively in agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery using tools like Jira.

Communication & Documentation:
Write clear, concise notes on tickets and maintain strong verbal and written communication to align with remote and cross-functional teams.

Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have Experience:

  • Expert in PHP and Drupal CMS development.
  • Familiarity with standard Drupal tooling and workflows (e.g., DDEV, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Proficiency with at least one JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Node.js, Next.js).
  • Experience working in agile teams using Jira or similar tools.
  • Strong English communication skills for collaboration in distributed teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Acquia Drupal certifications.
  • Experience with client-facing roles or stakeholder management.
