This role is perfect for engineers passionate about cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, and automating the deployment and scaling of mission-critical applications.
You’ll work on containerized platforms, manage multi-cluster environments, and ensure services are highly available, secure, and performant. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in cloud-native ecosystems and loves solving complex operational challenges.

What You’ll Do

Design & Deploy Containerized Applications

  • Build and deploy applications using Docker.
  • Ensure container images are secure, efficient, and production-ready.

Manage Orchestration Platforms

  • Operate and maintain Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
  • Use SuSe Rancher to manage multi-cluster environments.

Automate CI/CD Pipelines

  • Implement automated pipelines for containerized workloads.
  • Streamline deployments, rolling updates, and scaling operations.

Monitor & Troubleshoot

  • Track performance, health, and reliability of containerized services.
  • Resolve issues proactively to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.

Security & Compliance

  • Manage secrets and enforce security best practices within container environments.
  • Implement policies for access control, image scanning, and cluster security.

Drive Cloud-Native Excellence

  • Recommend improvements in infrastructure and orchestration practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize performance and scalability.

  • You thrive in cloud-native environments and have deep experience with containers and orchestration.
  • You are hands-on with automation and infrastructure as code.
  • You understand scaling, fault tolerance, and high availability in production systems.
  • You are proactive in identifying issues and improving operational reliability.
  • You communicate effectively with engineering, operations, and leadership teams.

Tech Stack You’ll Work With

  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, SuSe Rancher
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar
  • Security & Secrets Management: HashiCorp Vault, Kubernetes Secrets, RBAC

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven experience deploying and managing containerized applications at scale.
  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for container workloads.
  • Knowledge of container security best practices and secrets management.
  • Familiarity with multi-cluster management using tools like SuSe Rancher.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
  • Cloud-native automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
  • Background in monitoring, logging, and observability of containerized systems.
  • Experience in highly regulated or enterprise environments.
