This role is an opportunity to shape, maintain, and scale a robust cloud infrastructure, driving automation, observability, and reliability at every layer. You’ll be the guardian of the platform’s health, ensuring systems are always ready to perform at the highest level.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Cloud Infrastructure: Design, maintain, and optimize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, ensuring uptime, scalability, and security.
  • Automate Everything: Build self-service tooling and automation pipelines to streamline deployments, monitoring, and operational workflows.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Leverage tools like Terraform and NIC to create reproducible, auditable, and scalable infrastructure.
  • Monitor, Alert, Protect: Implement and refine monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery strategies to safeguard mission-critical systems.
  • Partner with Engineering: Collaborate closely with developers, data teams, and leadership to align infrastructure with evolving product needs.

Tech Stack You’ll Work With

  • Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • IaC: Terraform, NIC
  • Automation & CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar
  • Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, etc.
  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (GKE preferred)

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure-focused engineering role.
  • Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
  • Proven track record managing GCP environments at scale.
  • Experience building automation pipelines and self-service tooling.
  • Proficiency with monitoring, alerting, and backup strategies.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Kubernetes administration experience.
  • Familiarity with cost-optimization strategies for cloud environments.
  • Exposure to security hardening and compliance requirements in financial services.
